"Bradley Taylor, a 42 year old Burbank city employee, was honored November 8 at a luncheon and awards ceremony in Northridge by District Attorney Steve Cooley for his bravery and good citizenship.

Taylor witnessed a display of domestic violence last year in November when he saw a man punching and shaking a woman inside a van in a Montrose parking lot.

Taylor called the police and followed the van until the authorities arrived. His testimony would later contribute to the man's conviction of assault on multiple counts.

Along with several other citizens, Taylor received the Courageous Citizen Award at the even, which was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Northridge."
