Miss Burbank Dawna Gunn is the daughter of BCEA member Tina Gunn, and 12 year Burbank Police Officer veteran Neil Gunn. Dawna is competing at the Miss California Pageant in September of 2000.

Dawna is 18 years old and a senior at Village Christian High School which she had attended since kindergarten. At Village Christian, Dawna is a member of the Senior Council, Year Book Editor, a member of the varsity soccer team, and has been involved with the cheerleading program for four years.

Dawna will be attending college in the fall where she plans to major in Communications, striving to be a News Broadcaster. She has appeared as a correspondent on the local cable program "All About Burbank."
