The City and the BCEA agree that a Wellness Program is a worthwhile goal. The
City shall contribute up to Two Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($225) reimbursement
annually to each full time and part time employee with ten (10) or more years of
service, for participation in a Wellness Program - a supervised health promoting
activity as screened and approved by BCEA. Health promoting activity includes
qualified sports clubs (including two-year contracts) lessons, fitness enhancing physical activities, body scans, and home exercise equipment (not applicable to golf equipment), but shall not mean in any case
the purchase of personal property such as athletic clothing or shoes (roller blades are OK). Exercise videos, except golf videos will also be eligible for reimbursement. It is agreed
by the parties that part-time employees receive up to $112.50 reimbursement
annually and are defined for purposes of this section as those employees working
between 20 and 39 hours a week. Purchases above the limit may be carried over into subsequent years.
Comprehensive physical not reimbursed by personal medical coverage and other non-covered or non-reimbursable medical costs for the employee.
