HIGHEST ONE YEAR COMPENSATION
Effective May 1, 1977, the City's contract with PERS shall cause the base upon
which each affected employee's retirement benefits are calculated to be predicated
upon the employee's highest one year (twelve months) pursuant to the provisions
of Section 20042 of the California Government Code.
