Probationary employees do not have property or vested rights in their position with the City. A probationary employee may be discharged or rejected at any time by the appointing power without cause and without right of appeal. Notification in writing of discharge or rejection shall be serviced on the probationary employee and a copy shall be filed with the Employee Relations Administrator.
