SECTION E
JOINT LABOR/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
- The parties agree to establish a Joint Labor/Management Committee for the limited purpose of discussing the possibility of performing work with the City of Burbank employees working overtime instead of contracting out such work. Cost, feasibility, timeliness and quality of work issues will be subject to discussions by this Committee but the final decision as to whether or not it is in the best interest of the City to contract out such work will be with the City.
- The parties agree to establish a Joint Labor/Management Committee for the limited purpose of reviewing the following issues:
- Revise and update language in the Grievance and Discipline Articles, adding additional options for appealing minor discipline, and defining suspension days (i.e. calendar vs. business days).
- Review Workers' Compensation Policy
- Review evaluation process
- Revisit vehicle accident matrix previously found in Exhibit J
- Language to encourage Citywide Training being taken on City time
- Language to clarify jacket and hat replacement in Article II K.3.
- Clarifying language relating to Call-outs
- Language relating to Development and Working Out-of-class, Citywide, and specifically at BWP.
- Language to protect Part-time employees
- Address specific concerns with the following BCEA positions/benchmarks: Workers Compensation Technician and Principal Clerk
- FLSA Audit and position reallocation
- Define how Union Leave is being tracked
